Lipodissolve is a nonsurgical alternative to liposuction that helps tone and trim the body by dissolving fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise.

Lipodissolve is performed by injecting phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate into unwanted fat tissue. These two substances break down the bonds that bind fat membranes together, causing the fat cells to die. The results are permanent and the destroyed fat cells will not return.

The visible results of lipodissolve can be seen as early as 1-2 weeks, but the final results are noticed around 6-8 weeks after the final treatment session.

Most patients can resume normal activities immediately after their treatment. A slight burning sensation at the injection site is possible. Small amounts of swelling, bruising, and tenderness around the treatment areas is also possible. These issues typically last for one to five days.

After each treatment, it’s best to avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for two weeks. We suggest massaging the treated area for about 15 minutes per day for two weeks after treatment to aid the process of fat elimination. Walking 20-‐30 minutes daily during the course of treatment will also help improve results, but it’s important to avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours after each treatment.

Be sure to drink plenty of water to help flush out fat.
