Effective Spider Vein Removal in Glendale, CA

How Laser Spider Vein Removal Works

During laser vein removal treatments, the laser targets individual veins. The heat from the laser causes the walls of the targeted veins to collapse. After collapsing they become scar tissue that is absorbed by the body, and the spider veins disappear. The best part is, this has no impact on the effectiveness of the circulatory system, since the treated veins were no longer functioning as they should. Instead, the body actually replaces those spider veins with normal ones.

In comparison with other spider vein treatments, which mainly affect the surface layers, our laser also targets the underlying vascular feeding system, which ensures long-term effectiveness of the treatment.

Upon initial consultation we will determine which spider vein treatment is best.

This process is perfectly safe because other healthy veins supply blood to the treated area, and the body’s immune system clears away the dead tissue after treatment.

Sclerotherapy Injections for Spider Vein Removal

Along with laser treatment, we offer sclerotherapy injections for spider vein removal. Sclerotherapy involves an injection directly into the vein. The injected salt solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to collapse and stick together and the blood to clot. With time, the spider vein turns into scar tissue and fades from view.

Recovery Time

Laser treatments can usually be done with little or no downtime afterwards. Patients may experience some pigmentation, redness, swelling or bruising in the treated area, which should disappear over time (healing time varies by patient).

It’s best to avoid direct sun exposure to the treated area for 2-4 weeks.

Treatment Process

We start with an initial consultation to determine which treatment is best for your spider veins, laser or Sclerotherapy.

Treatment length and the number of sessions needed vary from patient to patient. Multiple laser vein removal treatments may be required to achieve desired results. Many factors impact the results of individual laser treatments, including the severity of the condition being treated.

It’s important to avoid direct sun exposure to the treated area for 5 days after treatment.

The studio is beautiful and inviting (even though it’s a tiny bit hard to find the first time as the exterior looks like any other office building) but once you’re in it’s like a little oasis. There’s always gentle music and essential oils and tons of magazines to make you feel at home. Lousine herself is an absolute Angel. She is so warm, welcoming and gentle. She’s a pleasure to talk to throughout the appointment and is extremely thorough. I had a set of 3 microneedling sessions with Lousine. I was nervous for my first treatment but Lousine made me feel comfortable and is very knowledgeable. She also gave recommendations for other treatments in a straightforward manner without being too pushy. Everyone is very warm and welcoming and I love that her lovely daughter was working at the reception. I will definitely come back for more treatments.
